MECKOW Aquapur launches in Nigeria

On the 9th September 2011 the MECKOW Aquapur was officially launched to the Nigerian market by the MECKOW Aquapur Nigerian Distributor, BGV Limited. The launch took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Victoria Island and was well attended by Government Officials, influential Business People as well as the Press.

A demonstration MECKOW Aquapur unit was set up in the grounds of the Hotel with raw water being by tanker from the Ogun River. At midday the launch commenced with a Press Conference introducing the concept, features and benefits which the MECKOW Aquapur would bring to Nigeria, to the media. A number of leading Newspaper as well as Television Stations had sent reporters to cover the launch. This was followed by a question and answer session.

By this time invited guests were arriving for the public launch, which commenced at 3 pm. Mrs Iyadunni Gbadebo, Managing Director of BGV Limited welcomed all the guests and thanked them for giving up their time to attend the launch of the MECKOW Aquapur. Mrs. Gbadebo then made a presentation to audience on the current situation relating to the access to safe drinking water for the people of Nigeria and how the Nigeria could benefit from the implementation of MECKOW Aquapur units.



This was then followed by a presentation by Mr. Andrew Kluckow of Meckow International Limited which outlined to the audience the development, testing and certification of the MECKOW Aquapur unit. A speach from the State Governor was read out to the audience by the Deputy Governor. Once all the presentations were concluded the attendees where invited outside to the Official unveiling of the Meckow Aquapur as well as a demonstration of how simple the unit was to operate.

The successful day closed with everyone enjoying some refreshments.
