To ensure the pumps are protected, should the stream flood, the pumps are secured to the bedrock and a steel cage is placed around them.

The three MECKOW Aquapur units are connected to the header tanks, which then supply the bulk storage tanks with SAFE drinking water. A water collection point is installed providing four taps from where the community collect their drinking water requirements.
